Who To Watch For:

Spruce Grove:

  • Keifer Miller – Forward – Banff, Alberta – College of the Holy Cross

Tallying the lone goal in the Saints 4-1 loss to the Chiefs in Chilliwack on Thursday, Miller will look to carry that offensive touch with him into Friday’s contest against Surrey. The Holy Cross commit has points in back-to-back games and has played in 116 games with the Saints over his career with plenty of junior hockey experience to lean on.

  • James Richards – Defenceman – Port Williams, Nova Scotia – Niagara University

Richards has made an immediate impact since joining the Saints just over two weeks ago and has contributed three assists for the blue line in five games, including a nice set up to Miller for the lone goal on Thursday night. The Niagara University commit has shown his play in all situations and has become a go-to defender on the back end.

Surrey:

  • Brady Kudrick – Forward – Norwell, Massachusetts

A big three-point effort from the Norwell, Massachusetts native on Wednesday morning in a win over Powell River has seen Kudrick shoot up to 12 points in the season and factored into each of the Surrey goals in the game. Of the five games this season in which Kudrick has collected points, the forward has earned multi-point games in four of those contests.

  • Sihwan Kim – Forward – Seoul, South Korea

Not many players have stapled themselves in the BCHL from South Korea but Kim has done so and done so very well in earning a point in every game but one so far this season. After being shutout in the opening game of the campaign, Kim has racked up points in five consecutive games including three of those being multi-point contests.

The Saints and Eagles play their one and only game on Friday night with a late Alberta-time puck drop of 8:00 PM MST at the South Surrey Arena. The game will be broadcasted live on the Saints Radio Network as well as streamed online on FloHockey.
