What To Watch For:

Spruce Grove:

  • Still Alive

The Saints victory on Friday night in Brooks kept the team’s playoff hopes alive as they sit one point behind the Okotoks Oilers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Interior Conference. Spruce Grove will play their final regular season game ever at Grant Fuhr Arena and look to close out a building where they have built many great memories with a win and a hope that by the end of the night on Sunday, they will be a playoff team.

Blackfalds:

  • Joey Melo – Forward – Georgetown, Ontario – University of Alaska-Anchorage

Earning four points in the last meeting between the two teams on March 8th, Melo has been playing his best hockey over the last month of the season and comes into Saturday having collected points in six of his last seven contests. The Anchorage commit has posted five goals and seven assists for 12 points in that span and will look for one final game to showcase his stuff.

The Saints and Bulldogs meet for the fifth of six times this season on Saturday in the final regular season game ever at Grant Fuhr Arena. Tickets can be purchased online on tickets.sgsaints.ca.
