Looking Back:
The Saints will try and close their weekend out on a positive note after falling by a 3-1 score to the Okotoks Oilers on Friday night at Grant Fuhr Arena. Josh Polak scored the lone Saints goal late in the 3rd period to break the shutout bid while Ryan De Kok turned aside 29 of the 31 shots thrown his way in his 13th loss of the season.
Blackfalds comes into Friday night’s matchup after winning back-to-back games and coming off of a 4-0 victory over the Vernon Vipers on Friday night at Eagle Builders Centre. Danny Hussa, Luke Dahlen, Antoine Gauthier and Luke Norcross each found the back of the net in the victory while Lukas Furtsen made saves on each of the 15 shots thrown his way in his 2nd win of the season and 1st career BCHL shutout.

Seguin added an assist late in the game on Josh Polak’s team leading 18th goal of the season last night and now has points in three of his last five games coming into action on Saturday night. The Saints captain has registered a goal and three assists in that time for four points over that stretch while collecting 25 points in his 46 games played this season.

Points in three of his last four games has helped Norcross to a strong finish in the 2024-25 season in which he has 14 points in 26 games played with the Bulldogs after being acquired from the Sherwood Park Crusaders early in the season. The Western Michigan commit has collected goals in back-to-back games and has earned four goals and an assist for five points in his last four games.
