Who To Watch For:

Spruce Grove:

  • Adam Lang – Defenceman – Sherwood Park, Alberta

Collecting a pair of assists a night ago in Sherwood Park, Lang will look to continue to push the offense from the blue line as the Saints look to fight their way back into the win column. Lang compiled nine assists in his 20 games played last season during the Saints BCHL season while also adding a pair of assists in three playoff contests.

  • William Seger – Forward – Uppsala, Sweden

Getting into his first game with the Saints last night, the 6’6” forward was able to find the back of the net on a nice net drive and earn his first career BCHL goal in his first game. Seger fit in well on a line with Cole Kronewitt and Stephen Kirkpatrick and will look to keep his good play going into the second half of a home-and-home set.

Sherwood Park:

  • Kale Dach – Forward – Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta – Penn State University

Back-to-back three assist games has Dach in a strong spot to begin his season as he has collected 10 points in just five contests thus far and has earned a point in each of his games played this season. The Penn State commit had 13 points in 12 games last season with the Crusaders in the BCHL and had a big playoffs with 12 points in nine postseason games.

  • Poul Anderson – Forward – St. Louis Park, Minnesota – Maine University

Three points on Friday night for Anderson has him up to nine on the season and the Maine commit has found quite a home on the top line with Dach and Jeremy Loranger, who leads the league in scoring with 12 points. Anderson has earned five points in his last two games and has two three-point games to his credit this season.

The Saints and Crusaders play the second of their seven game season series on Saturday night. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 PM at Grant Fuhr Arena with tickets available online on tickets.sprucegrovesaints.ca.
