Spruce Grove comes into action on Saturday after snapping a three-game losing streak with a 6-4 victory over the Blackfalds Bulldogs on Wednesday night at Grant Fuhr Arena. Six different goal scorers in the way of Keifer Miller, Max Seguin, Austin Peters, Alexy Lachaine, Ethan Kronewitt and Stephen Kirkpatrick came together to find the back of the net while Ryan De Kok turned aside 34 of the 38 shots thrown his way in his 3rd win of the season.
The Spruce Kings come into Saturday night looking to snap a three-game losing skid of their own following a 3-2 loss to the Chilliwack Chiefs on Saturday night at Chilliwack Coliseum. Skogen Schrott and Brogan McNeil each found the back of the net in the losing effort while Ryder Green made 24 saves on 27 shots in his 5th loss of the season.

- Ethan Kronewitt – Forward – Stony Plain, Alberta
Kronewitt comes into Saturday night with points in each of his last three games and scored the game winning goal in Wednesday’s win over the Bulldogs with two of his three goals this season accounting for game winning tallies. The Stony Plain, AB native has registered a goal and two assists for three points during his three-game point streak and has posted 9 points on the season, tripling his total through 19 BCHL games last season.
- Austin Peters – Forward – Winnipeg, Manitoba – University of Maine
Peters kept his point streak in tact on Wednesday with a goal and an assist effort in the victory over Blackfalds and now has earned points in each of his last five games. The University of Maine commit has posted two goals and five assists for seven points in that span while jumping to 16 points in 20 games this season, helping the Saints as a team to 68 goals on the season.
Prince George:
- Skogen Schrott – Forward – Tampa, Florida – Michigan Tech
Carrying a six-game point streak into Saturday’s contest, Schrott has exploded offensively in his second season in the BCHL with Prince George, leading his team with 21 points in 20 games. The Michigan Tech commit has collected five goals and eight assists for 13 points during his six consecutive games with a point including a four-point outing on November 2nd against the Victoria Grizzlies.
- Ethan Montroy – Forward – Cornwall, Ontario
Only two of the 14 games that Montroy has played in with the Spruce Kings have had the forward not collecting a point as the Cornwall, Ontario product has been a big factor for Prince George’s offense. Montroy recently had his six-game point streak snapped in the Spruce Kings matchup against the Langley Rivermen on November 15th but posted three goals and four assists for seven points during that stretch.
