The Spruce Grove Saints defeated the Blackfalds Bulldogs 4-3 in a thrilling matchup. The Saints got off to a strong start with goals from Miller 25 seconds in and Polak six minutes in, giving them an early 2-0 lead. Aiden Castle responded for the Bulldogs before the end of the first, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
In the middle of the second period, Polak netted his second goal of the night to restore the Saints’ two-goal advantage, making it 3-1.
The Bulldogs fought back in the final frame, tying the game at three. With just 7 seconds left on the clock, Miller scored the game-winning goal, sealing a 4-3 victory for the Saints.
Miller’s performance was crucial, contributing both the opening goal and the decisive game-winner to secure the win.

The Saints are back on home ice on Saturday night as they play host to the West Kelowna Warriors for the first time for a Spooky Saturday at Grant Fuhr Arena. Children are encouraged to wear costumes to be entered to win prizes as well as trick-or-treat in the intermissions.
