Despite outshooting the Brooks Bandits 37-30, the Spruce Grove Saints were unable to score their Teddy Bear Toss goal and fell 3-0.
The first period saw the Saints on the power play for two minutes. However, they were unable to capitalize on the man-advantage.
Isaac Johnson then scored one goal in the middle frame and two in the third. With him being the only goal scorer of the evening, the Bandits took the first game of a back-to-back with a 3-0 win.
