With a 3-2 win over the Sherwood Park Crusaders, the Spruce Grove Saints remain undefeated in 2026.
The first period saw both Declan Waddick and Tre Peck scoring power play goals to take a 2-0 lead over the Crusaders.
Early into the middle frame, Adam Perron scored a shorthanded goal to give the Saints a healthy 3-0 advantage. However, Brec Christenson responded with two goals of his own to bring the Crusaders within one headed into the third.
Although the Crusaders were searching for the comeback in the final frame, the Saints locked down defensively by only allowing six shots and won the game by a 3-2 conclusion.
Final Score: 3-2 SGS
