Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced Wednesday the team has signed goaltender Colten Scott (’07) for the 2026-27 season.
The Calgary, AB product was most recently with the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL. He put together an impressive 2025–26 campaign with a 2.80 GAA (7th in SJHL) with a .914 SV% (T-8th in SJHL) in his 21 games with the Hawks. Scott aims to bring a calming presence between the pipes this upcoming season.
“We are excited to have Colten apart of our organization next year,” said GM Rob Sklaruk. “He is a promising young goalie on the ice and a great person off the ice”.
“I feel the Spruce Grove Saints are the best place for me to continue developing both as a hockey player and as a person,” said Scott. “The team’s culture, commitment to player development, and competitive environment really stand out to me and played a big role in my decision to become a Saint,” added Scott.
The Saints would like to welcome Colten and his family to the organization and the City of Spruce Grove.
