Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced Friday the team has signed forward Noah Osland (’07) for the 2026-27 season.
Osland, 18, comes to Spruce Grove from the State of Hockey, having played his high school hockey at Totino-Grace High for each of the past four seasons. The 6’0″, 165-pound forward suited up in 101 career games for his high school, amassing 30 goals and 45 assists for 75 points over that span of time including a point-per-game season during the 2025-26 campaign which saw him collect 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points in as many games.
A product of Lindstrom, Minnesota, which is situated about 45 minutes north of Minneapolis, also got into junior hockey games last season with the St. Cloud Norsemen of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and played in three games with St. Cloud and has a tie to the Saints organization as Osland played with current Saints forward Tre Peck at Totino-Grace High for three seasons from 2022-2025.
Osland is a consistent point producer at the high school level, something that peaked the interest of the Saints staff, “Minnesota high school hockey is a high level to play and to be a point-per-game player in that is really telling,” said Saints GM Rob Sklaruk, “Noah will bring a high hockey IQ and strong offensive tendencies that will translate well to the Saints and the BCHL.”
For the first time in his hockey career, Osland will trek across the border to Canada, “I’m very excited to come to Spruce Grove and join the Saints,” stated Osland, “From what I have seen, it looks like a really fun atmosphere to play in and I can’t wait to get started.
