NEWS: Saints Add Scoring Presence In Landon Jamieson for 2025-26 Season

Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced on Friday the team has committed to forward Landon Jamieson (’06) for the 2025-26 season.

Jamieson, 19, joins the Saints after a strong season with the Selkirk Steelers in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) in his first season of junior hockey. The 5’10”, 170-pound forward ranked 6th in team scoring on the Steelers last season, posting 19 goals and 31 assists for 50 points in 58 games.

The Oslo, Minnesota native played his high school hockey with East Grand Forks High for three seasons where he compiled 36 goals and 88 points in 78 games before heading to Canada to play for the first time last season.

“Landon is a player who we think will make a big impact with our club this season,” commented Sklaruk, “He had a great first season in junior last year and we believe he can bring his scoring ability to the Saints and the BCHL this season.”

Just as the team is excited to have him, Jamieson is looking forward to his time in Alberta, “I am very excited to get started in Spruce Grove,” mentioned the forward, “When I came for camp in July and got to meet the staff and players, I realized how great of a spot this is going to be for me to play and develop.”

The Saints begins their new season ushering in a new era at the Thompson Family Arena on Friday, September 19th as they host the Brooks Bandits to kick-off the 2025-26 BC Hockey League season.
