NEWS: Saints Commit To Cole Kronewitt For 2024-25 Season

SPRUCE GROVE, AB – Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today the team has signed forward Cole Kronewitt (’07) for the 2024-25 season.

The Stony Plain, Alberta native is no stranger to the Saints organization, playing in one game with the team last season and has watched older brother Ethan suit up 142 times for the Saints over the past three seasons.

Last season, Kronewitt compiled 15 goals and 24 assists for 39 points in 33 games with the Titans Hockey Union 18U team, his second season in the Junior Prospects Hockey League (JPHL). Prior to that, Kronewitt was a member of the Hockey Super League’s Saints Pro Hockey Academy.

“Cole has a high hockey IQ and possesses great offensive play making abilities.” commented Sklaruk,He is a player who has moved up through our development pipeline, so seeing him make the jump to our team is satisfying for both him and our group. We are excited to see Cole continue to develop his game and contribute to our success.

The Saints are back on home ice for a pair of games this weekend as they host the Trail Smoke Eaters on Friday night and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Saturday at Grant Fuhr Arena. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 PM on each night with tickets available for purchase online at tickets.sprucegrovesaints.ca.
