Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced Wednesday goaltender Bodee Weiss (’04) has committed to NCAA Division III Aurora University for the 2025-26 season.
Weiss, 20, joined the Saints for the second half of the 2024-25 season after beginning his first season in the BCHL with the Langley Rivermen. The 6’2″, 185-pound netminder posted a 3.76 goals against average and a .878 save percentage in 13 games with the Saints.
The Medicine Hat, Alberta native spent three seasons with the Bonnyville Pontiacs prior to his time in Spruce Grove and the BCHL, registering a 3.15 GAA and a .897 SV% in 106 games.
“We would like to congratulate Bodee on a very well deserved commitment,” commented Sklaruk, “Bodee has worked extremely hard to prepare for the next level and we look forward to seeing what he can do in Aurora.”
