Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced Wednesday the team has traded forward Michael Azzarone (’06) to the Powell River Kings in exchange for future considerations.
Azzarone, 18, is in his first season in the BC Hockey League where he registered six goals and seven assists for 13 points on the season with the Saints while suiting up in 30 games in Spruce Grove.
“Michael was a great addition to our lineup and competed hard in every situation we threw at him,” Sklaruk mentioned, “We wish Michael the best in Powell River.”
The Saints continue on a stretch away from home as they head to Cranbrook to take on the Bucks for a pair of games beginning on Friday night at Western Financial Place. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 PM with the game available to view on FloHockey.
