The Spruce Grove Saints are pleased to announce the signing of 2008-born forward Cash Lanigan for the 2026-2027 BCHL season.
The Regina, Saskatchewan product joins the Saints after spending last season with the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). The 5-foot-10, 183-pound left-shot forward appeared in 55 games during the regular season, recording 19 goals and 29 assists for 48 points. Lanigan earned the SJHL Rookie of the Year award for his efforts. He appeared in one game with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League (WHL) this season.
“We are excited to welcome Cash to the Saints organization,” said Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk. “He had an impressive first season at the junior level, and his combination of competitiveness, skill, and physicality will be a great addition to our group. We look forward to helping Cash continue to develop his game here in Spruce Grove.”
The Saints would like to welcome Cash and his family to the organization and the City of Spruce Grove.
The Saints are on the road Friday at 7:00 pm in Brooks and Saturday at 7:05 pm in Okotoks. Games are streamed live on Flo Hockey and the Saints Radio Network.
