Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced Monday the team has traded defenseman Frederic Deschenes (’05) to the Langley Rivermen in exchange for future considerations.
Deschenes, 20, spent 44 games with the Saints after being acquired by the team last December. The Sorel-Tracy, Quebec native collected six goals and 23 assists for 29 points over the course of his time with Spruce Grove while also suiting up for the West Kelowna Warriors and Cowichan Valley Capitals over his BCHL career.
The Saints would like to wish Frederic the best in Langley.
