Saints Promote Hohmann to Assistant GM

The Spruce Grove Saints are proud to announce the promotion of Chad Hohmann to Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing.

As the longest tenured employee with the Saints, Hohmann has held the title of Director of Sales and Marketing since 2016. Working along side Saints Vice-President of Business Development J.J. Hebert, Hohmann has played a key role in growing the Saints corporate partnerships, social media presence and community engagement over the past eight years, while staying close to the hockey operations side with his strong working relationship with Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk.

Sklaruk sees high value in giving the 35-year-old Hohmann a hockey operations role by saying, “Chad has been an invaluable resource for not only myself, but the entire organization. He has a great hockey mind and will be a profound resource on the hockey operations side.”

Hohmann spent his playing career in the WHL, CJHL, Canadian University and minor pro ranks before joining the Saints and will use his connections across the hockey world to create new relationships and opportunities for the Saints.

The newly appointed Assistant GM is eager to take on his added responsibilities saying, “I am extremely grateful to Dan and Lindsey Leckelt, Rob Sklaruk and JJ Hebert for their mentorship and trust that has afforded me this opportunity to continue to pursue my career goals with the Saints. I want to thank my wife and four children for their continuous support. I love what junior hockey represents, as a formative stepping stone for academic athletes to achieve their dreams and I cannot wait to help our organization do whatever it takes to continue to be viewed as one the top junior hockey destinations in North America.”

Hohmann will continue to have a strong presence on the business side, continuing to work with Saints corporate partners and valued season ticket holders, while expanding his role within the hockey operations department.
