Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced Friday the team has signed forward Lucas Cilan Hjorth Jensen for the 2026-27 season.
The Aalborg, Denmark product played with the Aalborg II during the 2025-26 season. Hjorth Jensen also represented Team Denmark at the IIHF World Junior Championship, bringing valuable international experience and a high-end skillset to the Saints lineup heading into next season.
“We are excited to welcome Lucas to our organization,” said GM Rob Sklaruk. “He is a skilled forward with great offensive instincts and experience playing at a high level internationally. We believe he has a lot of potential and will be a great addition to our group both on and off the ice.”
“I’ve had some great talks with the staff, they are very professional in their approach. That’s something me and my family appreciate a lot” said Hjorth Jensen. “I’m exited to be a Saint, help the team and play in front of amazing fans every night”
The Saints would like to welcome Lucas and his family to the organization and the City of Spruce Grove.
