Saints Acquire Local Hockey Product Ethan Sundar From Vernon Vipers

Spruce Grove Saints General Manager Rob Sklaruk announced today the Saints have acquired the BCHL playing rights of 20-year-old forward Ethan Sundar from the Vernon Vipers for future considerations.

Sundar, from St. Albert, Alberta, is the older brother of current Saint, Evan Sundar. The elder Sundar has spent this season with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL. In 30 games played, the 5’10″, 170-pound, left-shooting forward has put up 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists) and 12 penalty minutes.

With the addition of Sundar, the Saints receive an experienced player, who has spent time with the Cranbrook Bucks and Vernon Vipers of the BCHL, posting 29 goals, 58 assists and 76 penalty minutes in 150 games played.

Sklaruk was pleased to add a local veteran hockey product to the Saints, saying, “The Saints have always been big fans of Ethan and have followed his career since his minor hockey days with the St. Albert Raiders. Ethan is fast, skilled and has experience at the BCHL level. We are thrilled to add him to our group for the stretch run here.”

The Saints would like to welcome Ethan to Saints.
